Grownups
Grownups are so very tall
And I am oh so very small.
When I'm standing in a crowd
And they all are talking loud,
I think that they don't notice me.
But Grandpa says that grownups do
Pay attention to me and you.
They were once just as small
Before they grew so big and tall,
As someday you and I will be.
